HAS REACHED BEIJING AFTER 16.500 KM

Carlo Mascarin, Michele Orlando, Maurizio Pistore from Padova on GS 650 and Maurizio Benvenuti from Rome on GS Adventure 1150 carrying video and satellite equipment .

We are sorry to communicate that the “Bike-Reporter” Mr. Maurizio Benvenuti, had to quit the Marco Polo Motoride due to an accident in Armenia (see the story) |
The idea came initially from Michele and Carlo and developed as a unique experience that will take this team through the route of Marco Polo, on the legendary Silk Road, from Venice to Beijing. The group is composed by four riders, travelling without supporting vehicles and relying only on their motorbikes and experience. During the journey they will send comment and pictures visible at this web site at the “ON LINE TRAVELOGUE” - don’t miss it !! The trip will not finish in Beijing because for the first time filming in High Definition standard will be performed during the riding, video footages of this fascinating travel will be available here afterwards. The adventure is starting.
